Charleston Marine Center to Minim Creek Anchorage

Travel day – we took a ride from Charleston about 45 miles to an anchorage called Minim East.  It’s a nice quiet spot and it was an uneventful and peaceful day.  There is beef and bean and vegetable soup in the crock-pot and we are savoring the evening.

Cool 60's and overcast all day light wind from the south, the front has stalled just off the coast but is expected to move into the Atlantic tonight.

I purchased Reunion (Formerly called Spectra) in Charleston in the summer of 2011, so the boat has now past this area of the loop but new adventures still await in New York and Canada. And repeat adventures from here on.

The first navigation aid north of Charleston
Charleston or Cape Cod?
A rare sighting of a giraffe from the Cat family
Still low country but more grass now, less mud
And the sunset at anchor

  1. Hi Carol and Dennis,
Today in Milwaukee the temp was 59 degrees. We launched our boat today and attempted to dock it in our slip. If I knew winds were at 25 mph NW I never would of tried it. After trying twice we ended up docking it at the end of E dock with the wind blowing it off. It should be ok with 7 lines. We'll go back down on Sunday and see if the winds will let us attempt it one more time.
Really enjoy your blog and the "eride" along.
