Gorgeous travel day – for the first time in a week we had no
rain and even saw the sun for awhile.
Traveling on the Tennessee River is beautiful. Wide water, deep enough for no worries, and
we have only seen about one tow boat with barges each day – and the scenery is
the gorgeous part. Others were out
enjoying the water too as you can see from the photos.
We pulled into the Bluff Dock area, which is right below
downtown Chattanooga, early this afternoon.
The boat in front of us has a Packer flag – they are originally from
Milwaukee even though their boat shows a Georgia hometown. Another looper boat pulled in right after us
and they were from Neenah, WI, but now live in Texas. So the Texas Packer fans joined us for a few
hours at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch today’s game against the 49ers. A good time was had by all.
