Ditto Marina to Joe Wheeler State Park Anchorage

Foggy again this morning and just a bit of delay until 8:00, then off the dock and into the river. The Tennessee River is one of the most beautiful boating areas I have ever seen. Mountains, valleys, cliffs treeline to the river bank, much of the shoreline is still undisturbed, parkland or nature preserve. But other areas have much industry or residential development. Large deep lakes with lots of small tributaries and coves for anchoring, really a great boating area. We arrived about 3:00 and rode the  dinghy to the marina where all the Loopers are getting ready for the Rendezvous. We had docktails with 13 other Loopers from seven boats and dinner with 8 other people at the Inn Restaurant. Much laughter and fun with these new friends.
