Mallett’s Bay to Gaines Marina – Canadian Border

Gaines Marina 1.5 miles south of the Canadian Border
Nice sunny travel day, for our 37 mile cruise to the USA side of the Canadian Border. Tomorrow we will enter Canada, go through customs and begin the next leg of our Journey. We purchased two Canadian Paper Charts for the next leg to Montreal.

Ralph on Mazel Tug noticed some white smoke in our exhaust, so I contacted American Diesel, did some temperature measurement, we determined the engine is running a bit cool causing the white smoke. This could be caused by a low thermostat setting but more probably the injectors need servicing. Once we get home we will have them serviced.

Arrived about 1:00 and took the early opportunity to wash the sundeck roof, I believe it has been raining mud recently. Docktails at 6:00 and supper on Mazel Tug, early evening, ready for our new adventure in Canada.

We will have limited internet access in Canada and will post blogs when available.
