White Lake to Muskegon

The anchorage in White Lake was very quiet and light wind. A large thunderstorm worked its way down the lake last night and through eastern Michigan. We had a storm about 40 miles east of our location that fired up a great light show for more than an hour, fortunately we were not in its path.
A short ride today to Muskegon and about a three mile up the inner lake to the marina. Not much close to the marina but a concert/festival just the other side of the YMCA, near the marina. We stopped by the Milwaukee Clipper on our way to the marina, I rode the Clipper in the 50's with the Milwaukee Jaycees.

We took the Beach Trolley to the Silversides Maritime Museum, I did the submarine tour and Carol spent time in the war museum. My interest is mainly all the mechanical equipment that was developed during WWII, Carol learned a lot about Pearl Harbor and the errors that were made in communication early that Sunday that keep us unaware. We went over to the festival for a while this evening had some dinner while we listened to the country music, quite good.
