Sneads Ferry to Morehead City, NC

Rose, Sam and Steve
I returned from Sarasota yesterday after a visit with my Mom.  Thanks to Kristen Benson and family, who live in Jacksonville NC, for giving me a ride to and from the airport.  Loopers will understand how really valuable it is to have a car when you need a ride, whether for groceries or the complicated logistics of leaving the boat for a few days.  When they delivered me back to the marina, the Benson kids, Steven, Sammy and Rosemary had a lot of fun exploring and asking questions about Reunion.

Today we came north on the ICW through the Camp LeJeune area (where Lt. Col Benson is stationed).   We visited with a marine from Texas as the fuel dock and saw lots of training activities on the water.  We could also feel the percussion of ordinance fire from a long distance away as it reverberated against the boat.

The wind started to build by this afternoon and we were glad to enter the Morehead City Yacht Basin.  We are anchored in front of a looper boat from Canada and we made a grocery run.  Dennis is making me salmon and all the trimmings for dinner tonight.

  2. This is how families should be planning their stuff i mean when it comes to moving ahead into the right direction that works for us quite sensibly bus from ny to columbus is what that goes well with us and at the same time we can set everything regarding it.
