Big thunderstorms late last night and a rough sea left over this
morning. We traversed two foot rolling seas on the beam from Manitowoc until
the turn at Rawley light. We then were able to change direction and have the
waves more on the stern quarter. We decided to stop after 4 hours at Kewaunee at
the Salmon Harbor Marina. Rested on the boat this afternoon doing regular bookkeeping
and I was able to complete some E-Rate school work. Dinner tonight at the
Port-O-Call restaurant in downtown Kewanee. More storms predicted for tonight.
Our new Wi-Fi antenna is providing great internet access and we have been able
to get local stations at every stop on our TV antenna.
