About a 0.2 mile cruise today to get ready for our company
on Thursday. We did chores most of the day, had supper at the marina restaurant
and attended a concert in the park adjacent to the marina.
The concert was Barney Bentall and Band and they were really
good. Barney was a rocker in the 90’s then bought a ranch to raise Cariboo, now
back on stage, sort of a Canadian Bruce Springsteen.
Peterborough is on a large pond called Little Lake and they
have a city fountain in the center of the lake, really cool.

Really pretty little, and not so little, cottages along the way! How did the chocolates survive the trip back to the boat in your backpack on such a hot day?! We turned the AC back on today as it was back in the mid 90s. Good day for a nice swim, but the lake is turning, so green algae is beginning to surface and turn slimy ~ yuk. But the water is still very cool and refreshing, so I'll keep paddling around as long as I can!
