Nicolet Bay to Alibi Dock

Anchored in the bay there is no opportunity to attend a church. However, our home church Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church publishes a podcast of the service. They also publish the bulletin from the service so we can follow along. We have a hymnal aboard so we can sing as well. Carol and I met at MPLC and were married there as well, lots of fond memories of the Space Ship Church, http://spaceshipchurch.org/.

A short 5 mile cruise today with wind from the southwest and 2 ft white caps on the bay. Alibi Dock in Fish Creek is one of the nicest marinas in Door County. Very well kept, great staff, convenient facilities and close access to Fish Creek, sort of the center of the Door. Shore duties this afternoon, laundry for Carol and fixing a flat tire on the bicycle and filling the water tanks for Dennis. O yeah, and showers after a few days at anchor. This afternoon we walked uptown but Carol did not feel like shopping, I don't think the condition is terminal but obviously a serious situation. I will monitor her condition closely and report any changes in this mood shift. We continued our walk to a Mexican restaurant up the hill, Arroyo Bay Grill, across from our destination the Fish Creek Auditorium. After supper, we went to a Charlie Daniels Band concert in the Auditorium. A very good band with some great members, Charlie is 78 and still very active in his show presentation.
