Sunday in the Keys

Pastor Steve Lawes, Mary and Steve
Breakfast buffet, tables in the back
Today was full and interesting.  We went to church with another couple – at a community church on Pine Key.  The church served breakfast after both 1st and 2nd service, and if you were still seated at the tables in the back when the music started, that’s where you sat for church.  People were very friendly and the music was contemporary.  The Preacher did a good job and we were glad to be there.

After church we drove to Key Colony for an Art Fair in the park and enjoyed the music and artists, and our favorite – the Barracuda Races.  You could bet on your favorite fish, but since we didn’t have any inside information on the contestants, we stayed out of the gambling.

This afternoon Dennis went bike riding and watched the kiteboarders from the beach.  Carol went grocery shopping and then prepared a big strawberry shortcake for the Looper Potluck on the dock.  A fine way to finish off a fun Sunday.
